              At 50 I'm still well below the average age for model engineers, but I doubt I'll be around to enjoy that show

                  Neil,

                  I keep telling myself that 50 is years ahead of me, thankfully I am still right but each year it does get closer. And if you think you have problems just imagine how I found it as a 23 year old lass starting out in this hobby, most Model engineers were (and still are) older than my father.

                      I am planning to take my royal scot to the show in 2014.just sorting out the paperwork, and so on.some great beer and food to be had in germany.and I hope to see some great locomotives.michael
