                Thank you for your kind comments, on the completion of my Stuart 5A.

                My next project was going to be a Westbury diesel twin ,but I,m at the point of completing a single cylinder four stroke engine of my own design, so thats going to be my next project.

                  Wish that I could produce work as good as that!

                    @SteveP,

                    Brilliant.

                    You could use a small electric motor to demonstrate how all the parts move in relation to one another.

                    Add fake smoke too.

                          Steve,

                          That’s a lovely looking machine with nice, clean lines. And the colour scheme works very well.

                          Have you run it on compressed air? Be a shame not to see it operate.

                          I’m not sure what display type to suggest but maybe none since these engines can take a good ‘dusting’, are enjoyably tactile and curious visitors could be allowed to give the flywheel a spin.

                            Thank you.

                            I have run the engine several times on compressed air, speed has increased as things have bedded in, my compressor is only a small diaphragm type without a receiver  so the engine will only turn over slowly.

                            I think I will be dusting the thing until I,ve made a cover, I did look at a glass dome but it would have to be quite large, large they are the more expensive they get!

                            Steve
