      @ady1

      I have always used a non wifi ADSL hardwire system and the BT phoneline connection is fine.

      I have noticed occasionally that it has to fight to get online but once connected I never get a dropped connection.

      The cost of getting online is a total ripoff though IMO, for a 6MB conn

          Vic,

          No, not in my case, I run Win 10 on a laptop and have no problems with my 5Mb internet speed via the Router WiFi.

              Blimey! It's running at 9.8Nb! It must have heard me moaning.

              Even my crappy cable system is better than 9.8 Nano bps. Yours must have a real case of the sulks. wink

                " Blimey! It's running at 9.8Nb! It must have heard me moaning." Nano Bytes? Where my Daughter used to live, She had a Virgin fibre box outside her house and used terminals #1?. So the Virgin Techs used to take her line and use it for testing other circuits, must have happened 10 times, about Her resulting speed.

                  Newton-bytes. They deliver data with real force.

                  12.7 Mb last night, but charging now so 3G and <1Mb.
