I have a Fobco Star, the type with the extended nose spindle. Single phase. My problem is that the switch contacts have burned out. I had no reply from either lathe.com nor the original switch manufacturers. I'm not an electrical person by any stretch but I am fairly sure there must be a modern equivalent that will fit. Websites are full of electrical speak, acronyms and numbers that mean nothing to me. Can anybody tell me where to get something that will be as close to original as possible?
