I think that you will find welding courses expensive. Been there, done that years ago. Probably horrendously expensive soon due to the rise in elec n gas prices.

I'm slowly working through my C&G Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding part time via Leeds College of Building at the moment…

It's not "Cheap" per-se at about £250/module, but that price is very inexpensive for 48 hours of contact time per term, all materials and 6 assessments per module.

I didn't intend to do the TIG modules as it's not really relevant to why I want the qualification, but it's do-able whilst I'm at it if I feel it's going to be worthwhile.
