You are correct. Up to 120 volts DC – provided it is ripple free. I am surprised at that as DC, if it is nasty enough to give you a jolt, is likely to cause muscle contraction, preventing one from letting go of anything that is grasped. Would you guarantee that voltage is fully smoothed?

      Why?

I won’t buy anything from them that I couldn’t afford to throw away if it was faulty. I’ve still got the offending morse taper that wasn’t quite anywhere near right (rattled in the machine taper).

        .

So … as you haven’t thrown it away: Did you find a good use for it ?

No. I have retained it as evidence, should some S/A repudiate my story and demand that evidence. I could and I can afford to throw it away, but where have I mentioned I would. That is simply my advice to anyone who makes a purchase from that site.

You are trying to twist words, as usual, which seems to be one of your traits – well it is either that or your reading skills are challenged?l It is, as I stated, utterly useless as it is. Some time in the future I might machine it into something else.

          Jason,

Thanks for pointing out the "Code of Conduct" I thought I was getting senile when my first post vanished. Now with the LINK removed the first part doesn't make sense.

Thanks Carl that clearly answered my question.

          Dave
