Centaur castings arrived

I have built a couple of engines before including a Stuart no4 with reversing gear, which was quite a complex engine.
My castings arrived today for my Centaur project and having them all spread out to check they were all present and correct I thought that a newcomer could find this quite bewildering!
Tackle one piece at a time and work through methodically.

There is something immensely satisfying about seeing the castings all laid out in front of you!

I've used an instagram account to make a record of my loco build; its quite a good way of making it all chronological, and unlike a forum people can comment on the pictures but it doesn't make additional "posts",just appends yours with comments should you allow them.
