I don't think there are any castings in that model, looks like it was scratch built and based around the Stuart D10 design

Hi thanks for your reply , I did see a set of castings in the Stuart tuner catalog 1924 was called

s v .slide valve vertical. all the castings where gun metal and the flywheel was steel.

Have a look at old 'Reeves' designs, Cylinder base castings look a bit like 'Warrior'

              Regards Ian.

Not a D10 ! bore and stroke about right and the top cylinder covers look ok but the rest ? Looks a nice model. Noel

It's not done with the Progress SV castings as they are only 1/2" bore, You can also see a joint line where the valve block is fitted to the curved cylinder and the shape of the A frames is arrived at by turning. Only thing SV and warrior about it is the use of square flanges at the top of the A frame to cylinder joint.

Not sure what base castings Ian can see by looks all bar stock to me, two rectangular rails onto a bit of plate

Hi I have had a little look at the reeves Worrior . a lot of the measurements are the same but the bed plate is

fabricated , I have made a new crank has the old one was beyond respire. the warrior had a 5/8 " stroke and 3/4

bore the new crank I made is 3/4 stroke and 3/4 bore . but it runs ok on very little air ,

I will up load video when I have done some more bits to it .

                          thanks Jeff

                            Those standards are pretty distinctive

Hi I think the model is made from reeves castings with a scratch built bed plate ,

thank you all for your help on identifying the model , I can now get on with making it look better

                              thanks again Jeff
