Britannia 5″ steam dome

I'm plodding along building a 5" Britannia with the Norman Spink drawings which I aquired in the late 1980s. It has just occured to me that there seems to be no drawing for the steam dome cover which goes on the outside of the cladding. Does anyone have dimensions ? or am I just missing the item becuse mine are old drawings and newer ones have been corrected to include it ? I know that there were plenty of errors, I have found quite a few !

Further to this the boiler drawing (sheet12) shows a steam dome bush on the boiler shell top in dotted line detail but I can find no dimentions for that either, not that the dome is actually used because the steem collector pipe runs below and passed it on the model.

Any help from a previous builder greatly appreciated

I think that the dome is the same as the 9F and also the LMS Duchess if so I can email you the drawings for the 9F I used a casting from Blackgates.

Hi Rick,

You might want to consider posting your request on the modeleng.proboards forum. There are are least 2 people building the Perrier 5"g locos, and both with excellent build threads, with one having completed the boiler. Can PM you further details if required.
