I've been sent details of this open event for all classes of vane yacht* on Saturday 8 June at Valley Pakway, Bournville Lane, Birmingham.

MYA/FSYRR sailing regulations

Briefing 10:00

No race to start after 16:00

Entry fee to be decided.

*For the uninitiated vane yachts have no radio control but are steered by a wind vane that operates the rudder, keeping them at a constant angle to the wind. The skill of setting the vane and rigging for the optimum course and performance for the conditions is critical to success.
