At last my Eclipse is finished. This was built from Jason B’s drawings which he made from an old Basset-Lowke magazine advert and adapted to metric units.

Although it has been a few months since I started work on it actual production hours were in keeping with the engine’s size (flywheel dia 35mm). My smallest engine to date and a very enjoyable project. Most materials, even the air control valve, were from stock in hand so the only purchase was 2 “O” rings for the valve rod and the piston rod.
It runs a treat and with 35PSI of air I have seen 3200 RPM on it.
Thank you for the design Jason.
Jim
