Arceurotrade Tailstock Turret

I am thinking about getting one of the Arceurotrade tailstock turret systems. They say it has a 16mm spiggot. If anyone has one, can they measure the spiggot to see if it is 16mm or in fact 5/8". Comments on quality would also be appreciated.

It is 16mm exactly.

My wife bought me one for my birthday many moons ago. For the money I don't think the quality is bad. I notice on mine that it has six shiney grub screws to hold the tools in position. So looks like I have replaced them. They are not expensive. The other tools have ground surfaces and all fit together well. It comes in useful for drilling and tapping on the same part.

The American market version is 5/8".

Our version is 16mm. Sometimes we get one or two pieces of the 5/8" version by error.

Best to stick with the 16mm. Start using imperial and everything will come off the lathe looking like a loco.
