A lorra lathe costing a lorra money, probbly beyond the scope of most hobbyists

I notice they still make shaping machines

Which model ? When Ajax were in Stockport, they used to supply lathes from several sources -particularly Spain & Bulgaria., maybe also Taiwan for the smaller manual machines (the Ajax Victor CNC machines were Taiwanese, I think).

Ajax didn't make anything – they were agents who badged imported machines.
