Somebody I knew wanted to buy a used Super 7 from his employer, it had been used in the fabrication of explosives and munitions.  They agreed but said it would have to be heated red hot and soaked first to ensure there weren’t any fragments of explosive swarf hiding anywhere….

I designed a machine for shot blasting the spent fuel containers in those “caves” at Sellafield.
All operated and maintained by robotic manipulators. I was eight years working on that one project.
