There are other sites such as Thingiverse (among several others) that provide useful repositories of free or reasonably prices STL and other files.

It makes more sense to use these repositories than to try and emulate them on this website, but it’s been suggested we have this thread as a place for members to post links to the files for their workshop and model engineering projects.

I request that discussion is kept to a minimum – ideally discuss the projects in their own threads.

Just use this thread to post a link and a description, also a link to any thread discussing the project if you like.

I haven’t uploaded many of my workshop accessories to Thingiverse – many of them are either too basic or specialised.

This one is a solder fume fan I made a good few years ago, it uses a 4″ computer fan to suck fumes through a double layer of carbon filter from generic cooker hood refill material.

Could you also change the thread title FROM UPPERCASE to a more polite rendition.

If we had a competent magazine editor on hand, they might advise concerning what looks good in print and what hurts the eyes.
