Autodesk is currently offering 30% discount on Fusion 1 year licences. This does not seem to be conditional on having an existing seat. Discounted price is GBP462 (GBP385 + VAT).

There is no equivalent for 3 year licences which is a shame. They remain at full list (GBP1645 + VAT).

I tried entering the promotional code from the 1 year offer on the 3 year but this was rejected (suprise suprise).

The 3 year allows you to align the new purchase with an existing subscription renewal date but you can’t do this with the 1 year.

It is of course available for free if used fro personal use only .

There is though a limit of 10 projects you can save

You can save more but are limited to any ten being actively editable at one time. Free works for me using it mostly for CAM.

The free version works for me, too. I don’t use the Fusion system to save my files, so I’m only limited by the capacity of my hard drive. Having said that, now that I’ve disposed of my CNC router, I have no need for g-code generation at the moment. I only use Fusion occasionally to have a ‘play’ to keep my hand in, registration current and the program up-to-date. Alibre Atom 3D is still my go to CAD package.
