About to start assembly, but read that the single steam cock is not very effective and that drain cocks on the cylinders have been fitted by some. The flange width on the cylinder is less that the 1/4 inch dia of the drain cock thread – not good. I am thinking to leave as supplied.Would appreciate hearing from any Dixie owners on this point.
