      Hi all,

My name is Martin, i am 32 and an electrical engineer working in an industrial setting. I have had a strong feeling for a while about getting more hands on with mechanical equipment such as lathes etc. ( i want to get my hands dirty)

I have had a hard time finding any part time evening courses for study and practical but wondered if anyone had any information of the best way to either teach myself or how people have met people to be taught the skills?

Any advice is appreciated and have a good evening.

      Martin

Hi Martin welcom to the forum. Where in the country do you live as diferent areas have diferent training, teaching schemes. I have a few local friends with diferent skills which help each other out as well.
