      Hi All,

I have about 3 or 4 16mm solid carbide 3 flute slot/end mills that are my 'go to' cutters for most of the work I do.

Two are now very blunt and the third is getting that way. 4th is still brand new.

I have no way of sharpening these and would be happy to pay someone to redo them me. Plus each way post of course!

There are maybe 6 or so HSS cutters also to do but not vital.

Perhaps someone with a T&C diamond grinder can help me here?

      Regards, Martin

Do these need only the ends sharpening or do the flutes need doing as well?

I may be able to help in a few weeks time, I only took delivery of a cutter grinder this week and have to install it and practice on a few cutters.

I bought a number of used 6mm solid carbide cutters from a firm advertising on ebay. It was a risk, but they were under £1 each. When they arrived, I checked them using a magnifying glass and immediately ordered some more. They were plenty sharp enough for my purposes, they must have been used on cnc mills and discarded after a fixed ammount of use. They are my do anything and not worry about the cost cutters.
