      hi everyone i want to build the Darjeeling train and i am the search for materials right now.

      the drawing says that the boiler has to be 4 3/4 inch in dia.

      so i looked at macc models they only have it in 4 1/2 inch dia. so i looked at mk metal they have it in the right size but the prize pr meter is 660 pound.surprise

      is there anywhere else i can find this tube at a reasonable prise and length?

      regards Brian

          Hope this helps you.

            @jasonb

            Mallard list it and works out a £538/m +VAT for 10g = £646

                  Hi Brian,

                  Robert Fardell, he advertises in the back of model engineer in the in the small adds.

                  he can get most things copper.

                  He is very deaf so be patient when speaking to him.

                  Brian
