Traversing jack- I need a drawing please

Hello everybody, I'm building a couple of steam locos at the moment in 16mm scale, one is a 'colonial' style loco, and I'd love to build a traversing jack for it. I've often seen these mounted on the footplate of locos that might just need re-railing in the middle of nowhere using the jack and whatever muscle was available.

Does anyone know of a drawing of one of these jacks, or even some decent photos? I'd like to fabricate this item if possible, I don't normally use castings.
