John, have been following this thread without commenting, as all I would have said was already said, but just to say I am so pleased that your problem has been resolved and that your 'better half' was insistent that you kept your workshop intact, like me you are lucky in that respect and a diamond indeed (and an understanding one!).

I'm so glad you have sorted things out and you will still be able to enjoy our wonderful hobby, several years ago a friend sold his railway and all his workshop and moved into a small house no garage or garden he told me it was the worst day of his life, he used to come to use my Machineary several days a week as he missed it so.

John, glad you managed to get it all sorted, just wanted to post my experience of selling machinery, i work for a school and have recently sold old machinery to fund other machinery needed to fund newer machines for our rapidly changing curriculum and found a company called apbmachinery (apbmachinery.com) to be extremely helpful and gave us a bery fair price on what we wanted to sell. Andy was great from start to finish and lovely to deal with.
