£17,500 – don't think so. They are nice though, saw one at Bath and West model engineering show a few years ago.

As apprentices we had to convert a 1957 Minor 1000 to steam power. We tried passing steam through the water jacket to reduce condensation but the boiler was our limitation. It did go, sort of, 40 mph top whack.
