Being currently ‘housebound’ … I have recently started using the Royal Mail “collect” service, at https://send.royalmail.com/

 

The local pick-up is astonishingly good value, but I am having difficulty with the site being unavailable

”unable to establish a secure connection”

Is this just an indication of high traffic levels at a popular time-of-day, or is there something more sinister going on ?

I use it fairly regularly and have not had a problem though I usually opt to drop the package off but sometimes do have the postie collect.

Thanks Jason … I suspect it’s just overloaded with ebayers, etc.

It’s loading fine on the Mac … so probably time I cleared the cache, etc. on the iPad
