The common size for 8mm collet thread is .275X40tpi or .268X.625 or

.275X.625 although they all seem interchangeable to some extent but the thread may be looser on some.

pultra 10mm collet thread is M10X1 not to be confused with Derbyshire Magnus 10mm because they have a buttress 10mm thread.
