Dear fellow Model Engineers.

I'm sad to have to tell you that Peter Clark died yesterday, peacefully, at home.

Peter entered into the machine tool category at the MEE on numerous occasions. He was fortunate enough to win many commendations and indeed the cup on one occasion. He also contributed articles to the ME.

Model Engineering was his passion.

A passion that I intend to continue

Chris, Somehow I missed this post and have only just seen it after a conversation with a friend. I spoke with Peter many times over the years and had a lot of respect for him. My sympathies go out to you and your family.

PS, I'm pleased you are carrying on his passion!

For those not familiar with Peter's work, his 'trademark' was well-made and ingenious sets of tooling, each for tackling some particular workshop challenge. They regularly featured in write-ups of the Model Engineer Exhibition.
