Hi,
How are the Tufnel tumbler gears held on to the lever.? Are they pushed on or screwed on? I need to remove them to strip the paint on the lever.
Mike.
The pins are pressed in.
Thanks John.
I needed to know as I did not want to damage anything by incorrect removal.
Hi guys,>>
Sorry for pitching in like this, but how do you remove the tumbler from the frame? >>
I cannot find any form of pin holding the tumbler stud in place? >>
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanx
Tom
Hi Tom,
If you mean the complete tumbler reverse lever and gears, there is a screw at the rear of the headstock
which locates in a groove on the reverse lever shaft.. I can take a photo of all the disassembled parts if you want.
