Engineering, whether Model or full scale Industrial needs to be given favourable publicity.

Without Engineers, the world as we know it would not exist, and ploughing wiuld be courtesy of deer antlers!

The world does not realise what a debt it owes to Abraham Darby, Whitworth, Maudslay, Brunel and their peers.

I've always found model making on the radio difficult as it's really too small and I keep falling off. Used to be OK on the TV but that was before flat screensdevil

                  Well to be honest… Nowink

Whitworth, Maudsley and Brunel – was that a program on the BBC Light Program or am I thinking of Wilson, Kepple and Betty?

Whitworth, Maudslay and Brunel and others should be in company with the inventors of textile machinery, (Water Frames, Spinning Jennies, Looms etc ) so all will be hard acts to follow!

I assume it was the Archers. Socially the most progressive programme on the radio. I have not listened to it for over 25 years.

Perhaps you need a DAB of adhesive to stop you falling off ! Sorry…
