Lathe tailstock

Hi l have a new barrel and nut for a Harrison tail stock which l got to replace the one in my 5/1/2 Harrison

but never did so the barrel fits my old tail stock ok but the thread in the nut is different. dose any one know if the thread

in the nut has been change.as l need to know it so l can sell it

Hi I have fitted new nuts in the past and there are at least two as some were metric and some were imperial.

Thank you for the reply's The nut in the barrel that l have must be metric as the imperil screw l tried would not fit. Ken

Sorry, but that assumption is flawed – if the previous reply is read correctly. There may be more than a single imperial thread used. Likely, but not certainly.
