I admit to being perplexed !

The only ‘Vision Engineering’ that I know makes fancy microscopes … and yet that plant is shown on numerous web-pages.

Given the design of the plinth are they really meant to be steamed? Our late chairman had one or something very similar with a glass case.

So Richard you have the instructions are you going to steam it ? If so look forward to seeing it in steam, I have a Stuart No 9 a Stuart 500 boiler and just made a condenser need to sort a water tank then come warmer weather hope to mount them on a board.

Ha! Yes I sure am! As soon as I get the right parts lubed and find a gas canister!

Great, I use Coleman  Gas Cartridge which I got on offer from Halfords last years recon google will throw up a deal somewhere.

Runs great. Still not 100% on all the control valves. The governor is just for show, which is a bit of a shame but the auto gas control valve works ok.

That’s rather nice and appears to run sweetly.
It looks a lot bigger than the original photos seemed to suggest which is good.

It’s a lovely model. It’s all packed into quite a small area. It’s about 16″ on all sides. Weighs about 20lbs.

There’s quite a lot going on in there and the quality of all the parts is top notch.
