Identification of change wheels please

Can anyone please identify these change wheels.

The course tooth set has a spindle hole dia of .875” (22mm ish), a wheel thickness of 1/2” and 8 splines– the set comprises 18, 30,33,35,42 and 45 (perhaps Colchester?)

The fine tooth set has a spindle hole dia of .900” (23mm ish) with a wheel thickness of around 9mm – not all are the same – and has 6 splines – the set comprises 40,42,44,45,52,56,60,80 and 96(?)

Diameter with tooth count, or DP/MOD might help.

Before checking some I have to confirm I would say one style is from a Colchester Bantam.

Many thanks to all who replied, especially Thor for directing me to an earlier posting.

Using the number of teeth/diameter formulae the course tooth set is 16DP which, according to the late Sir John is ‘early Colchester’s, round head etc 16 DP splined bore, some 6 some 8.’

The finer tooth wheel I get a 25DP and has 6 splines.I have checked the net without success for possible user. Anyone have thoughts?

25DP/. That is unusual. I can’t recall a 25DP involute cutter. Possibly a metric gear?

Many thanks for the reply. When I checked several of this set the calculations came out between 25.2 and 25.5 with one at 25.8… I assume the deviations came from my measuring..Have rattled my memory I think (!) the set may have come from a 'shop which got a Boxford T series in the early 1980's. This would, of course, have been metric.
