I need some silver solder

Could anyone help please with silver solder suppliers?

I've reached the stage where i need to buy some more silver solder and I'm wondering where the best place is to buy from. My last rods were bought at an exhibition at Donnington park a few years ago.

I've looked on the cupalloys site and wondered if there is anywhere cheaper for a low quantity. I only want 5 or 10 off 1mm and 1.5mm.

Please beware of the silver solder bargains on ebay, most are not and very old, If you are building a boiler go to the experts.

I have around 7kg of Ersin electrical solder… Its not the lead free stuff… had it years.. still in original packaging. if its any use send me a message and i will sort you some.

Its around 1mm maybe a tad more. Ersin 5 core multicore 60/40

Hi surely this is soft lead solder and not high melting point silver solder.

G'day. I don't know if you can get this (or equivalent) in the U.K. It sounds like just what you are looking for.

The pack has 5 sticks of flux coated silver solder and it's very good.
