Although once moving the bearing I tested seemed to run at a steady speed, if it were stiction alone then you would have thought speed would pick up?
Not sure I agree Jason, I would have expected that as soon as the load overcame the initial stiction you would get a brief acceleration until the rolling friction increased to equal the load and from that point on the speed would be a constant with friction in equilibrium with the load.
