Fortis lathes

I am new to this goup, and almost new to machining, I have just finished setting up an old but seems quite good Fortis 6" lathe. I would be very interested in contacting anyone using one of these old lathes.Thanks and looking foreward to any responce. Vic Donnelly, Saint Asaph, North Wales.

Welcome to the forum from another newbie, have you checked http://www.lathes.co.uk ? That is probably the mother lode when it comes to lathe info.
