      @jacobsmess

      I am looking at buying a small Mill for my space limited workshop.

      I’m on a tight budget, £350 max really.

      I’ve seen a Clarke CMD1225 that seems like it’s designed for both milling and drilling.

      I want to mill some splines on a hardened steel shaft to begin… hence me gonig down this rabbit hole.

      Would the clarke work?

      I’ve heard the Fobco star drills were made to handle mild milling, theres a few locally that are a very good price.

      I’m happy to modify what I buy to work better and stay within my budget.

      Frustratingly missed out on a £150 Warco mill the other day but don’t expect such a deal to spring up anytime soon.

      Any other suggestions/recommendations/words of wisdom?

      Thanks
