Elliott Omnimill 00

Hi Guys,
Over the last 12 months I’ve replaced all bearings and drive belts plus cleaning etc on my Elliott Omnimill 00 machine . I’ve noticed that the spindle speed lever is very tight to move foward and backwards between the two low and high speed selections . I’ve tried readjusting the tension on the spring ball bearing
Grub screw on the gear shaft , but doesn’t seem to make any difference on the stiffness on the movement of the lever. Does anyone own a Elliott Omnimill 00 and have had this problem or have any idea how to rectify this ? Thanks Graham
