          Old thread but this is where I'd mentioned 3D-Tool and I wanted to add to it.

          The current free version is still fine but does now contain a nag screen that you have to respond to each time it starts .. such is life.

          Of interest though is they've now added a separate native CAD converter which looks like it could be right handy but needs a full licence. So I wondered what an individual licence would cost.

          Turns out the people at 3D-Tool are a little coy about this. They have two systems of licencing- commercial and individual but they give no prices. You have to make a specific application to them and they will make you an "offer".

          So I duly did this, as an individual for a single licence and the offer came back …. 600 Euro's (just about $1000 Canadian Dollars). To say I was flabbergasted at this for a personal licence would be an understatement!

          Thought others might want to know.
