Diesel racing car

Hello All,

first thread, never had to ask before as all my questions have always been answered by past posts, and there is some experience out there.

can anyone give me some information on this racing car (photos attached) it has a single cylinder diesel engine and is constructed of aluminum.

i found it in a box marked "junk" i bought in an estate sale and i believe the past owner was a model engineer.
