Britannia 3.5″ gauge frames.

Hello. I am new here. Many years ago (1951 I believe) my father started to build LBSC Britannia in 3.5" gauge. He never finished it and he has been dead 20 years now. However I still have his Britannia in it's part built state keeping company with my Titfield Thunderbolt in its part built state but we are getting there. Sometime before my Father died he declared that he had made the loco mainframes out of too thin steel. It is a rolling chassis with coupling rods, trailing frames, front bogie, some valve gear, tender frames, most of tender body, and what appears to be all of the copper for the boiler. I do not have the drawings. I intend to do something with it but before I decide whether or not to start building onwards I would like to know how much is wrong. As I am not in possession of the drawings I wonder if someone on this forum would be good enough to tell me what thickness the frames should be. I am guessing at 1/8th". I would also like to know what thickness the trailing frames and tender frames should be. If it is just the mainframes that are too thin I will proceed with the build but if it is all of the frames too thin, I think Maisie might be on the cards instead!
