BR Standard 9F valve identifcition

Can anyone tell me what the two valves which I've circled in red do? Photo taken at the NRM of the footplate of Riddles BR Standard 9F.

They are used for opening and closing of dampers.

I don't know what they are but Cro fittings probably make them for 5" gauge.
