Hi, could anyone tell me the RAL paint code of Boxford machine tools made in 1980's, it's the greyish/beigey colour of the actual lathe I need.

Tony at lathes.co has given the RAL paint code for the bright green machines they made in 80's, but not this colour.

I did msg the spares department at Boxford some time ago, but didn't get any reply.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as i have a vm30 and lathe I'd like to give some attention while we can't go anywhere during lock down.

I just realised I forget to upload the picture to my account here, I'll add it in another msg.

Thanks mark that's really helpful, they do have a list of RAL colours, and RAL 7002 looks very similar, wonder if it's the same, their prices are actually very reasonable, it's just i like to use 2k acrylic top coat, it's really tough and leaves a finish like powder coating.

They do sell 2k primer, it's worth asking if they can supply it in 2k, thanks anyway it's definitely an option.

                        Peter moselund,

Apologies I obviously didn’t have notifications on and did not see your comment,  I have both brown and beige from paragon and while not stated online,  the tins do have the RAL number,  I’m pretty sure I still have them tucked away somewhere, if you still need them I’ll have a look.
