There was a series in EIM by Doug Hewson, could be 30 years ago. The 5in Ground Level club probably have drawings too.

Here’s a list of wagons done by Doug Hewson in EIM. The three numbers at the beginning of each line are “Volume, Issue, and page #”.

The first one is a wood 12 ton mineral wagon. I believe there were some others in later issues but I don’t have them at my finger tips.

I was one of the original ‘Subscribers’ to the DH 5″ Wagon box set.

The book came with a set of loose wagon construction drawings/plans all in a nice presentation box, so if you do find a copy, do make sure that you are getting the all drawings too (and not just the book). I doubt the Kindle version would be quite as useable in practice as the hardcopies..

The Ground Level 5″ Gauge Mainline Association and their journal “TURNOUT” have all those drawings in great detail.

I think I saw ‘reprints’ of some of your 5″ wagon designs on the Tee Publishing stand at the Fosse this year and they were not expensive. I do like my box set much better though. 🙂
