Hi all.

Can anyone please point me in the direction of drawings for the Fosters of Lincoln lubricator commonly used on traction engines, Preferably 3" – 1/4 scale, but anything accurate will do particularly of the internals.

I am also looking for drawings for square or oblong sliding firehole doors where the operating lever for the second door i.e. the one not directly operated by the hand lever; is above the doors and not below , as is the case with so many locomotive designs. I have already looked at. Again 1/4 scale preferred but anything that can be accurately re scaled would be ok.

Live Steam Models used to supply the castings and drawings for the Foster style lubricator. The more prototypical lubricator may be the Manzel lubricator and Little Samson models have drawing for those in 6" scale which you could use as a guide.

Model Engineer 23 August 2002 posted details to make a Foster lubricator. It incorporated a commercial truck lubricator made by Interlube (Tecalamit) for the pump.

I have PDF drawings for the 1½" SCC Burrell, if you want a copy PM me

They do show the sliding firehole door arrangement, but no lubricator I am afraid.
