      @ronvale3

      I have temporarily lost the pictures of the following ,but these were the proprty of a recently deceased Model Engineer. His sons are not interested in thewm as models but more  ‘what are they worth?

      Sher would like them to go to someone who is intrested in keeping them rather than going on the market via a dealer.

      They are  Stuart Double 10, Victoria, No 9 and a  Valiant Beam engine.

      The stuarts are

      ready to run’ while she thinks the Valiant may need a bit of work, although to a %in live Steam ned like me.. all look ok

      Any thoughts and best place to put them up for sale?

        look for similar ones for sale or sold to give you an idea where to start. eBay etc lets the world see them but be prepared for packaging.

          You’ll have to come up with some photos especially of the Valiant beam engine, as Mr Google can’t find any reference

            Duncan,

            On no evidence whatsoever, simply probability, I’m guessing that one should read ‘Vulcan’ for ‘Valiant’, and that it is the Westbury design:

            “Vulcan” beam engine – Station Road Steam.

            OP,

            As referenced above, an ‘Advanced Search’ on ebay using suitable search terms with the ‘completed’ and ‘sold items’ boxes checked will turn-up prices similar engines have sold-at and will at least give you some idea.

            Condition and presentation is all however and prices can be highly variable.

            Phil.
