Interested to see Neil's review of the 'Halot' resin printer in MEW that has just dropped though my letter box.

Yesterday, I purchased a Creality LD-002H Resin 3D Printer, having been alerted to it being on sale at £99 (inc shipping). I assume they are clearing stock because they have a newer model coming. I would also assume that the new one (the Halot?) has a better spec – but at £99 I thought it was well worth the money to just try out resin printing and how it compares to my SLA printer.

The site says they are currently 88% sold and it was 72% when I ordered mine yesterday morning. So if you are also tempted, best get a move on.

Well, I've just received an email telling me that my Creality LD printer has shipped – so I checked the 'tracker' which took me to the Creality site and then I spotted that they are having a 'Flash' sale.

It seems you can order a HALOT-ONE Resin 3D Printer (with free resin) for £99 too.

I haven't checked the specs between the two printers (yet) but if you are thinking of getting one, then perhaps you should do so. BTW – the HALOT-One Plus (as reviewed by Neil) is on at £369 currently.

Oh well, teach me to rush things…
