I like to give praise where it's due, just as I will complain if the service is poor.

I ordered a die from The Tap & Die Company but soon after found the die I had been looking for, put away in the wrong drawer!

That convinced me that I needed a wooden box to store them in rather than the old tobacco tin that I had been using. I know that T&D sold them as I've dealt with them before so I 'phoned to cancel the die and order an empty box but could get no answer late in the afternoon so , more in hope, left a message.

I was very surprised to get an email from them confirming the cancellation and new order and the box arrived the day after, excellent service!

Have bought Tap and Die sets from both Tap and Die and from Tracy Tools, and been satisfied customer of both companies.

Once, at a Show, asked Tracy Tools about a replacement inner for a box that I had knocked onto the floor, so that it broke. "What is the box?"

Told them, "Give me your name and address, and we'll send you one" "How much?" "F O C" and they did!

Suppliers who support their product and their customers deserve praise, and get repeat orders!

I must say….I have dealt with the Tap and Die company on a number of occasions and found them to be excellent!

I visited Tap and Die and was made very welcome, I bought tap and die boxed sets and was invited to take as many of the plastic containers for taps and dies as I would like if I had a use for them. It would seem the taps and dies for the boxed sets are supplied separately packaged so the plastic cases become surplus.
