The slips ,would account for a quarter of that!, then nthe depth mic and the sine bar, and possibly nthe squares could be Reference quality! And the little Eclipse (? ) vice would not come cheap.

All good useful stuff, is that a 5" sine bar? A box of slips like that would probably fetch £80 on its own.

..the pattern of both squares (the one in the box, and bigger one to left of the V blocks) – with bevelled edges and notch – is a "precision" pattern rather than "workshop" pattern – you should look at them carefully, unless you are sure they are just cheap c**p.. ..Do they have any marks/DIN stamps?

Some good gear there Lee. I found the Mitutoyo depth gauge at a booty with 1 rod missing for 15 smackaroonies.

I am guessing for the lot probably somewhere in the region of £ 250 to £400 .

I find it strange (and not a little irritating) that a hobby/interest primarily based on tool usage, constantly harps on about whether or not it was a "bargain". Seems to me that the criteria should always be – does it work, if it doesn't, can it be fixed, do I have a use for it, etc.? Unlikely, however that practicality will outweigh the 'gloat' factor!

You will not be disappointed! I have the similar but smaller Nebes TM101Plus for a couple of years now and it's a joy to work with. Silent and smooth running, can use oil/coolant, and cuts straight. Not cheap tho, but similarly priced to a Femi.
