Hi

Seeing odd posts about mills i thought i might throw this in purely for a reference post.

I have a axminster sx 3 and it is 3 years old (2017), i had cause to use the emergency stop last week and it did not work, after switching the mill off then back on i retried the stop and it worked then again it didnt.

I contacted axminster and they seemed to be aware of the problem and offered me the board and panel which was nearly £200, i got it fixed locally instead and axminster were right with the diagnosis in that it was a relay and cost me £60.

My point is that could have been so much more dangerous and i am surprised there is no notice or recall to owners about these relays failing.
