I have a part built 5" Ashford 2-6-0. What can I use to seal the regulator steam pipe join to superheater. It is stainless steel onto stainless steel oring?

dont understand – what is the reulator pipe made of? SS to SS is best Tig welded or brazed/silver sol;dered
