      @ma1colm

      I am looking for crimping pliers that can create a zig zag shape on the end of for example a resistor. Currently I manually do it to some components, so that they make good/ better connections with the rails inside a breadboard I use for circuit prototypes.

      Cheers

        Hi Malcom, not sure if this is the sort of tool you are looking for.

        Zig Zag parallel pliers (ebay)

        Regards Nick.

          Here’s a starter on UK Amazon; found by doing a Google image search from a US gaming forum.
          Try searching on this image for other suppliers.

          I’ve deliberately broken this link, as the forum tries to load it as a Kindle preview for some reason remove the ~ and the space either side.

            Hi Nick!

            That looks exactly what I’m after.

            Thanks

              Interesting. Maybe these would also do; only need to half crimp the lead.

                The ebay pliers that Nicholas mentioned look like Maun pliers, possibly a copy, the inserts seem to be interchangable and custom tips could be made to fit them.
